Laurie Granata, DVM
Internal Medicine

Dr. Laurie Granata earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1998 and began her career in general practice before transitioning to emergency medicine. She later joined a 24-hour multi-specialty hospital, Ultravet Diagnostics, where she worked overnight ER while training in advanced imaging.

Under the mentorship of a cardiologist and internist, she developed extensive expertise in abdominal ultrasound and echocardiography.

Since 2003, Dr. Granata has focused exclusively on mobile ultrasound and echocardiography, serving practices across Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and Long Island. She earned the trust of both general practitioners and specialists in one of the country’s most demanding veterinary markets.

Now in Virginia, she brings over 20 years of imaging experience and is recognized for her diagnostic skill, collaborative approach, and strong relationships with referring veterinarians and specialists. Her depth of experience, extensive case exposure and proven track record have established her as a highly respected and trusted ultrasound diagnostician in the region.
